Recently, many people have been opting to consume healthier food alternatives. For others, consuming natural, organic, and healthy meals (those that are beneficial for your body overall) may not even be a priority. Thus, how did Heinz target both populations: those who will only choose to eat nutrient-dense foods and those who don't really care? The Heinz Company attempts to solve this issue in their ketchup advertisement. Heinz cleverly illustrates the naturalness of their product by chopping up their classic bottle of ketchup into recognizable tomato slices. The company therefore successfully links its product with organic, healthy, food by employing tomato slices and the tagline "No One Grows Ketchup Like Heinz," the use of the word “grows” also contributes towards the natural ingredients of their ketchup since the tomatoes are naturally “grown” by Heinz. These strategies are simple but effective, which makes the audience feel good about buying their products.
